Frequently Asked Questions — Blister & Egg Packaging

Below are the most common questions about Yelui Packaging — our blister / plastic packaging manufacturing, custom design service, and our full range of egg packaging (chicken, duck, quail, and goose eggs). If your question isn’t covered, reach us via the Contact page.

General

Who is Yelui Packaging?

Yelui Packaging Product Company Limited is a blister / plastic packaging manufacturer with in-house design and manufacturing. We produce thermoformed packaging for many industries and also a full range of egg packaging trays and cartons (chicken, duck, quail, and goose eggs).

What does “blister packaging” mean and where is it used?

Blister packaging is a pre-formed plastic cavity (usually PET, PVC, or PP) heat-sealed to a printed card or lidding film. It is widely used for consumer goods, electronics, cosmetics, hardware, toys, food, and medical/retail items because it protects the product, deters tampering, and shows the product clearly on shelf.

Do you only make standard sizes, or can you build to our product?

We accept custom orders. Our team can design a blister or tray around your exact product dimensions, then manufacture the tooling and run production. You are not limited to stock sizes.

Custom Orders & Design

How does a custom packaging project start?

Typically in four steps: (1) you share the product, dimensions, and quantity; (2) our design team prepares a blister/tray concept and a CAD drawing; (3) we make a sample or prototype for your confirmation; (4) on approval we build the tool and start mass production.

Do you provide design and engineering support?

Yes. We have an in-house design and manufacturing capability, so we can take a product from an idea or sample all the way to a finished thermoformed pack, including structural design, tooling, and graphic/printing coordination.

Can I send a sample product for you to package?

Yes. Sending a physical sample (or accurate 3D/CAD file and dimensions) lets us design the cavity precisely and produce a fitting prototype faster.

What is the minimum order quantity (MOQ)?

MOQ depends on the pack type, material, and tooling. For custom tooled blisters it is usually higher than for stock trays; for egg trays we can often serve smaller runs. Tell us your target volume and we will quote the most economical setup.

How long does sampling and production take?

Sampling is typically faster than full tooling. After sample approval, lead time depends on order size and material. We will give a concrete timeline with the quotation.

Egg Packaging

What egg packaging do you offer?

We make egg trays and cartons for the full range of egg sizes: chicken eggs, duck eggs, quail eggs, and goose eggs. These include retail cartons, bulk transport trays, and stackable/insert trays.

Are your egg trays available in different materials?

Yes. Egg trays can be made from PET, recycled PET (RPET), PVC, or PP, and we also offer pulp/molded-fiber style options on request. Material is chosen by use case (retail display vs. transport) and sustainability goals.

Can egg trays be customized for my brand?

Yes. We can adjust cavity count, tray shape, stack height, and add branding/printing or color. Custom egg packaging is a standard part of our work.

Do you make quail-egg and goose-egg trays specifically?

Yes. Quail eggs need many small cavities; goose eggs need fewer, larger, deeper cavities. We design the cavity geometry to hold each egg type securely and reduce breakage in transit.

Materials & Sustainability

Which plastics do you use for thermoforming?

Common materials are PET (clear, food-safe, recyclable), PVC (cost-effective, versatile), PP (heat-resistant, flexible), and RPET (recycled content). We help you pick the right material for strength, clarity, and food contact needs.

Do you offer recyclable or eco-friendly options?

Yes. We offer RPET (post-consumer recycled) and can advise on reduced-material designs and mono-material packs that are easier to recycle. Tell us your sustainability target and we will propose options.

Are your materials food-safe?

For food and egg contact we use food-grade, compliant materials (e.g., PET/PP) and can document material specifications for your region’s requirements.

Quality, Production & Shipping

How do you control quality?

We control quality at tooling, sampling, and production stages, with inspection of dimensions, seal strength, and appearance. Consistent cavity geometry is important for protecting fragile items like eggs.

What production capacity do you have?

As a manufacturer with in-house tooling and thermoforming, we handle both prototype runs and volume production. Capacity scales with the tooling and material plan agreed at quotation.

Do you ship internationally?

Yes. We serve customers worldwide and can arrange shipping to your destination. Lead time and Incoterms (EXW/FOB/CIF etc.) are confirmed per order.

How do I request a quote?

Use the Contact page to send your product details, target quantity, and preferred material. The more specifics you provide, the faster we can return an accurate design and price.

Can you sign an NDA before I share product details?

Yes. We are used to handling customer products confidentially; we can sign an NDA before you send samples or drawings.
