Twelve large eggs arranged three by four: the L12X3 clear egg tray takes the world standard dozen layout and builds it for oversized shells. The 150 by 200 by 68 mm tray gives each 65 to 75 gram egg a generous pocket, with PET walls clear enough to show every shell detail.
Large egg flocks from free range farms often outgrow medium cavities, and cracked shoulders at the rim are a common loss. The deeper L12X3 pockets solve that, holding each egg below the rim line where crush risk is lowest.
The three by four dozen is the shape retail already expects, and the L12X3 inherits it at large-egg dimensions. It drops into the same crate slots, fridge trays and shop racks as an ordinary medium dozen, so a free range brand moving up to big shells does not have to redraw its shelf plan in order to sell them.
Against the long L12X2, the square base of the L12X3 packs more tidily: at 150 by 200 mm it tiles in both directions, so a carton of 540 and a pallet layer come out nearly rectangular with little space left over. The 68 mm height matches the rest of the large family, so a mixed pallet still stacks level.

Quality Comparison
