The S12X2 gives small eggs a dozen count in the classic two by six shape. Molded for eggs of 45 to 55 grams, this 270 by 96 by 61 mm clear tray spaces twelve petite shells along one visible row, so bantam and pullet producers can finally sell by the dozen in packaging that fits.
Clear PET lets the natural speckle of small eggs show through, which is a real sales advantage at farmers markets and farm shops. The tray is rigid, stacks securely and weighs little, keeping freight sensible even at high volumes.
